During the season, running from December to March, you can acquire temporary snowmobile registration from the NY State DMV. If you’re out of state and you’d prefer to receive a card immediately, register your snowmobile online.
As a rider you are required to carry your registration and proof of insurance, should it need to be presented to a law enforcement officer.
